The standards of drinking water are being pushed to levels that far exceed the purest spring water in the world, so those prices will go up and many of the plants in the country will have massive costs to comply. Business will take a double hit, because, well they're business and this government doesn't understand that they also provide jobs and tax revenues. Electricity, for the most part, in America is derived from coal. They aren't allowing any of the new clean coal technology that Obama talked about in the election to be instituted ( you can imagine what nuclear's future is).Older coal plants will be taxed out of existence, so if your utility has new costs, where will the money come from ?? Hum..........maybe your utility bills might double.
